Version 0.1 SE Changelog:
Alright! It is time to tell you what is going on and when the new version is going to be released. Plus, I don't want you to form false expectations because we are going to start a new game in new version. So everything what is related to old game engine is not compatible.
The new version is made on ren'py. It got many elements of visual novel. So many old mechanic is not in the game any longer. Plus, many quests and events are told differently in the new game. (almost all of them)
First of all, much time was spent on trasfering the game to new engine. As I mentioned before this new v 0.1 SE (second edition) will contain only one week. And this week is about Alex. (no father) The father will get his change next time.
Some of old mechanic is changed. There is no any homework or "checking out your grades". Plus Alex needs to go to the school everyday now. Without possibility to skip it.
I am trying to focus more on the story this time. Each dinner has new dialogues. Plus game got new events. Like events in the laundry and in the backyard. In order to see them you will need to visit them in certain time. therefore old mechanic of checking different location at different time is in the game. However, it is limited by the story a little.
Instead of just trying to explain you everything, it is better you try it for yourself and give me feedback. Right? So. This version has been just finished today. I haven't tested it. I am sure that it doesn't work and requires bug fix and polishing. Plus I want to add some music.
Even though I am almost sure I will be able to finish it this month, I don't like to make any releases at the end of the month. it is better to have a release day in the beginning of the month. So most likely early access will be available this month closer to the end whereas the release for the rest of the patrons 1st or second of July. The game will be release publicly, since it is first version, later in July. I will give you exact dates when early access is ready.
Don't get upset if you think it is changed much. Actually it doesn't. I just didn't like much old mechanic of repetitive events. Where you need to click time button again and again and days fly and so on and on and on. It was like a time loop where you are trapped. Though I give you this mechanic but story will move the game forward.
Even though this version doesn't cover Charlotte or Father. From now on, the things will go much much faster. As I don't need to spend most of the on customization building mechanic from a scratch again.
